I specialise in helping individuals and groups heal from relational and childhood trauma. Here, you can learn more about me, The Healing Childhood Trauma Podcast, and how I support people on their journeys toward healing and growth.
Trauma isn’t just “in your head” – it lives in the body, nervous system, and the stories we carry.
Many traditional therapy models target only one part of our experience. I work integratively, using a holistic approach that recognises the importance of healing across emotional, physical, and relational dimensions.
I work with adults (18+) individually, facilitate groups, and run online programmes designed to help people heal and grow from relational trauma.
In individual therapy, we’ll work together to understand how past experiences may still be shaping the way you think, feel, and relate to others. Through this process, you can begin to acknowledge and heal old wounds, allowing you to live in a more grounded, authentic way – free from trauma-led patterns.
Groups provide a safe, supportive environment where participants can connect, share experiences, and offer encouragement and accountability.
They also allow exploration of relational patterns, insights into group dynamics, and opportunities to experiment with new ways of connecting in a relational space.
Online programmes offer a structured, time-bound space where individuals engage with a group and are guided through a step-by-step process for building resources, insights, and practical strategies to address current challenges.
Hear from clients who have shared how this work has supported their own healing and growth.
I have over 10 years’ experience working across a range of mental health settings, including acute psychiatric wards, community prisons, the charity sector, and private practice.
I am professionally trained, registered, and accredited with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). Accreditation recognises that I have achieved a high standard of knowledge, experience, and professional development in counselling and psychotherapy.
I am also an experienced group facilitator, regularly running men’s groups and therapeutic groups supporting people to manage and overcome challenges related to anxiety, trauma, and anger, as well as groups for women who have experienced sexual or domestic violence.
Postgraduate Diploma in Psychotherapy & Counselling, University of East London. Specialist Postgraduate Trauma Training, NAOS Institute. Further specialist training in:
I have contributed to and led several research programmes, most recently focusing on integrating trauma-informed care into public services such as schools and prisons, and advocating for systemic change to improve mental health support in these settings.
