Let’s talk

Do you offer both online and in-person ways of working?

Yes, I offer the opportunity to work both online and in-person for both 1-2-1 therapy and groups. Depending on your preferences, we might work in only one of those formats or use a mixture of both.

This is something we would usually discuss at the beginning of the process in order to find out what would be the right fit for you. The online programmes are exclusively online.

Where do sessions take place?

In-person sessions take place at my practice in South Chingford, E4 8LS. The location is easily reached from surrounding areas including Walthamstow, Tottenham, Woodford and Highams Park. Online sessions are via zoom.

How long do sessions last?

Individual therapy sessions are 50 minutes long.

If needed – for deeper work or additional space – there may be the option to schedule longer sessions by agreement. Groups usually run on a fortnightly basis and typically last for a term of 3-4 months. At the end of each term, you’ll have the option to continue with the group or take a pause – depending on what feels right for you.

Online programmes usually run as weekly sessions over 8-10 weeks. These are more structured and designed as shorter-term, focused journeys.

How many sessions should I book?

For individual therapy, there is no expectation for you to commit to any number of sessions.

In fact, at the beginning, I would usually recommend that we go session by session and give ourselves the opportunity to get to know each other and get a sense of how it might be to work together.

If we decide to meet more regularly, we might decide to work together for a fixed amount of time or on an open-ended basis, depending on what we feel would be most helpful. This is something that we would regularly discuss and review as we go.

How much do sessions cost?

Individual psychotherapy is charged at £80 per 50 minute session.

I am committed to providing accessible psychotherapy, and for those whose circumstances mean that they are unable to pay my standard fee per session please ask about the current availability of reduced-fee spaces. I am happy to make referrals to other services if needed.

The cost for group work and online programmes varies depending on format and timescales. Please get in touch if you would like to know more about current availability and pricing.

Do you currently have availability?

Please get in touch if you’d like to get a sense of my current availability.

Am I able to use insurance (private healthcare cover) to pay for sessions?

Yes, I am a registered practitioner with the following private healthcare groups: Aviva, AXA, Bupa, Vitality and WPA.
